Ich liebe es… ganz im Ernst! Ich liebe es… so richtig aus ganzem Herzen und mit voller Leidenschaft: Kapstadt. Die Hafenstadt am anderen Ende der Welt war bei mir Liebe auf den ersten Blick. Vor 5 Jahren war ich zum ersten Mal dort, da eine Freundin mich überredet hatte, ein Auslandspraktikum würde unseren Lebenslauf pimpen und so verbrachten wir drei Monate in Südafrika. Und mir war sofort klar: hier gefällt’s mir. Die Stadt, der Tafelberg und die Menschen dort haben mich vom ersten Moment an fasziniert und seitdem quäle ich mein Umfeld schon hin und wieder mit Anekdoten aus Capetown. Mittlerweile war ich schon vier Mal dort und zwei Mal kam mein Freund nicht umher, mich zu begleiten, doch mittlerweile teilt er zumindest ein bisschen die Faszination.
Tja und leider oder Gott sein Dank findet ja dieses Jahr die Weltmeisterschaft in Südafrika statt. Gott sei Dank, da momentan im Fernsehen besonders viele Reportagen über Südafrika kommen, überall südafrikanische Flaggen zu sehen sind und sogar im Supermarkt in unserem kleinen Wohnort gibt es Gewürze und Saucen aus Südafrika zu kaufen. Leider, da genau diese Dinge mein Fernweh fast unerträglich machen und ich am liebsten noch heute in einen Flieger steigen möchte.
Mein besonderer Tipp für euch zur WM 2010 kommt daher natürlich auch aus Südafrika und nennt sich Savanna.
